Our ASC

The Cataract Specialty Surgical Center (CSSC) is designed, equipped, and staffed exclusively for outpatient surgery. It is a joint venture between Surgery Partners, and a number of local physicians. The CSSC meets and exceeds the highest standards required by the state of Michigan and has maintained accreditation with the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care since 1999. As compared to a hospital, the CSSC provides greater conveniences in a more relaxed atmosphere. Outpatient surgery is available to most patients and usually allows them to be discharged within 30 minutes after surgery to recuperate in the comfort of their own home. The CSSC is a single-specialty, Ophthalmologic Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) that has been in operation since 1999. It is state-licensed, Medicare Certified, and AAAHC accredited. In 2000, the CSSC was identified as a Michigan “ Center of Excellence”.

Our waiting room is a comfortable room for your family and friends. Our fully-equipped operating rooms allow us to minimize your time at our facility, while providing the latest surgical technology to your surgeon.
