You will receive pre-op instructions regarding medication, food and drink from your doctor's office at the time your surgery is scheduled.
Please carefully follow the fasting instructions you received from our facility. Failure to do so could result in the cancellation of your surgery.
DO NOT consume any alcohol 24 hours before your surgery as this will interfere with anesthesia and may cause bleeding problems.
All oral medications should be taken on the day of the surgery with a small sip of water unless instructed otherwise by your physician or a member of our staff.
If you have diabetes controlled by oral medication or insulin, please discuss this with the doctor's office at the time you schedule your surgery.
Refrain from using powders, lotions or any kind of cosmetics on the face, eyes, chest and arms.
If you develop a fever, cough or other medical problem, please contact your physician.
DUE TO SEDATION AND IMPAIRED VISION, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A RIDE TO AND FROM THE SURGERY CENTER.
